We welcome your enquiries by post, telephone, fax, email or in person at our unique shop which is open all year. We are located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, less than 20 miles from Richmond, where you can enjoy a walk on the hills and a browse round the shop.

OPEN EVERY DAY except Christmas Day and Boxing Day 10:00am - 5:00pm
We close at 4:00pm during November, December, January and February.

The Satron sweater arrived safe and sound this evening. What a fine piece of the knitter's art it is! I particularly like how the sleeves are set into the body, something which must be difficult to design with so complex a pattern. I'm taking it to Mongolia next month to give it the -40C test. The cardigan with extra wool and buttons has arrived safe and sound. A lovely bit of work it is, with a good fit to boot. The craftsmanship is a credit to Margaret Smith - not to mention her getting a so remarkably good fit in custom goods from all the way across the Atlantic! The white/grey Welsh wool has a fine feel, and the randomly distributed wisps of darker grey scattered throughout make the garment most attractive.
